Ring before the middle of the day and the visit usually happens that afternoon. Evening and weekend appointments are priced no differently from a Tuesday morning.
Book an appointment
Pick the date and the window that suit you. Somebody from the office confirms it by phone or text, and rarely more than an hour later.
Eleven towns across Cook and Lake Counties
We provide mobile, in-home service throughout Des Plaines, the northwest suburbs and the North Shore. Each service area page lists the neighborhoods and ZIP codes our vans reach.
Before you call
Two pieces of information shorten the call considerably. The first is the appliance model number, which usually hides on the door frame, behind the kick plate or inside a drawer runner. The second is a plain description of what the machine does when you run it. Saying "warm on the refrigerator side, freezer still cold" narrows the diagnostics far more than saying it has stopped working.
What happens when you call
You will speak to somebody who works on appliances rather than to a call center. Tell us the make, the model number if you can find it, and what the machine is actually doing. That is usually enough for us to know which parts to load before the van leaves.
You will be given a two hour arrival window rather than an open ended day, and the technician is confirmed to you by phone or text before they set off.
What a visit costs
Most repairs land between $150 and $450 with parts and labor together. Nothing is ever billed that you did not approve first, and there is no travel charge inside the ZIP codes listed on our service area pages.
If it cannot wait
A refrigerator drifting above 40 degrees, water on the floor, the smell of gas, or a dryer tripping its breaker: call rather than booking online, and say so when you get through. Those calls move to the front of the schedule. If you can smell gas, leave the property and call your gas utility before you call us.
Need it working again today?
Call us before the middle of the day and we will normally reach you before the evening, with a two hour arrival window and a flat price agreed before any work starts.
